Gerab Awarded Certificate of Appreciation from the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network
The Gerab Group was honored to receive the Certificate of Appreciation from the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Network, acknowledging the company's support and contribution towards social, economic, and environmental sustainability in the UAE.
The event "Marking Sustainability Network Achievements" organized by the Dubai Chamber's Centre for Responsible Business recognized the Sustainability Network member companies for their contributions in 2019, and their leadership and commitment to sustainable development business practices.
At the event, Abdullah Sharafi, Gerab's Managing Director, talked about his sustainability perspective and how the Gerab Group is embedding sustainability in its business strategy. He highlighted the various initiatives Gerab has been doing, including corporate wellness programs for employees; financial support to different charities and organizations; recycling and planting initiatives; and establishing sustainability policies and codes of conduct in the organization.
