Gerab Toastmasters Club 1st anniversary celebration.

Gerab Toastmasters Club celebrated its 1st Anniversary at Al Habtoor Polo Resort, marking an important milestone in the club’s journey of building communication and leadership capabilities within Gerab. 

Launched in May 2025 under the vision and initiative of TM Ronald Uchil, Group Chief HR Officer, the club has grown into a strong learning platform for employees, successfully conducting meetings, delivering speeches, and fostering a culture of confidence, communication, and collaboration. Today, the club proudly stands as a thriving community of 28 members. 

The anniversary celebration brought together members and mentors for an engaging evening featuring reflections on the club’s journey, an interactive quiz session, and the announcement of the Gerab Toastmasters Excellence Awards, introduced by Vice President Education, Shruti Verma, to further encourage active participation, continuous learning, and leadership contribution. 

A special mention to TM Christina Abraham, who not only brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm as the Master of Ceremonies for the evening but has also played a key role in strengthening the club community through her efforts as Vice President Membership, helping drive member engagement and growth.  

A special note of appreciation to the club’s mentors — DD (elec) Harish Krishnan, TM Ajay Valentine, TM Habbie Alex Roy, DTM Alwyn Philomen, TM Patrick Bejjani, and DTM Sowmyya Shetty — for their guidance and continued support. 

The club also recognizes the commitment of its Executive Committee members, whose efforts have been instrumental in building and sustaining the club:

As Gerab Toastmasters Club enters its second year, it continues to provide employees with a platform to strengthen communication, leadership, and personal growth.
